BlackBerry Launches new Android device, DTeK50

BlackBerry has finally launched a second Android powered phone, the DTeK50 is the mobile phone maker’s first touchscreen-only Android gadget, which the company says is the most secure phone on the market.

The DTeK50 which will cost less than the Priv, its previous model, is expected to help the company compete favorably with other smartphone makers at the same time diversify its range of devices.

The device which is BlackBerry’s second Android phone comes with a 5.2-inch, 3GB RAM, 13-megapixel camera, 8-megapixel front camera which includes a flash, 1080p display, 2TB MicroSD Card support and 2,610mAh battery. 

The midrange phone is the company’s first release with an all-touchscreen phone, though the company had earlier on indicated that it will not drop its physical QWERTY keyboard, a prominent feature on the iconic phones.
