BMW Connected will allow you to beat traffic, plan driving routes
BMW plans to release its first version of its BMW Connected, an app which will simplify the daily planning of driving routes on August 2016.
BMW Connected will integrate the vehicle to a user’s digital life using devices such as iPhone or Apple Watch. The “personal digital assistant” tool scans mobility related information such as address and arrival times and notifies the driver of the ideal departure time for arriving at their destination on time by relaying real time traffic information. The function will become active once a user has set up a ConnectedDrive account.
ConnectedDrive functionalities will allow users to lock or unlock their cars and even locate them remotely.
BMW Connected will only work on iPhones and Apple Watches, but will be included to other smartphones in future.
