Domani Munga of the Nairobi based Wakadinali rap group has released a new single titled ‘Blow Me Kisses,’ this time round he has enlisted vocals from Sir Bwoy. The song speaks to a beautiful, kind woman who has always been by his side and through his struggles.
Sir Bwoy’s vocals offer a refreshing experience on the track themed on a dancehall vibe and trap influences with nifty guitar work courtesy of Jeff Magina, which run through the just above 3-minutes song. Domani’s reputation as one of the best chorus writers in Kenya seems to sit well with his character on this track. The overall product is a laid-back, passionate piece of music anchored on simplicity.
‘Blow Me Kisses’ produced by Ares 66 is accompanied by colorful visuals directed by Slim Visuals. The video depicts hood life in Nairobi, it starts off with a warm, roomy scene where Munga is chilling with his mates as he jots down stuff on his pad, then spits the first verse before opening to an outside scene revealing Sir Bwoy walking about outside as he sings. The whole video is a minimalist and arty concept.
