Ego Ella May Shares Visuals For ‘Tonight I’m Drowning’ Off Her Recently Released Debut Album

From the well-received album Honey For Wounds, British-Nigerian singer by way of South London Ego Ella May has shared visuals for ‘Tonight I’m Drowning,’ the ninth track off the project. “Hopefully, this gets you excited for the upcoming tour next year!!” She tweeted about the song, excitingly hinting at her schedule for the upcoming year.

The video directed by Daniel Aremu visually exemplifies dainty jazzy productions by Wu-Lu. The visuals pick off with dancer Shanika Wallace before revealing Ego Ella May and band in a blue-lit room; the dancer eases into familiar transcendental moves as if drowning in the music. The cameras move around faces and silhouettes of the band members, painting a hazy effect with admirable artistic depth presenting a magical visual experience resulting in a more personal connection between the singer and the listener, in this case, the viewer.
