\\ Microsoft new app allows easy transfer of photos to PC

Microsoft release iOS, Android app “Photo Companion” that allows users to quickly transfer photos and videos from a phone to their PCs.

Microsoft Garage project “Photo Companion” works with Microsoft Photos and you only have to make sure your phone is connected to PC via Wi-Fi then scan code and proceed with transfer.

“Our solution was to build an app that would support direct wireless transfer between any phone or mobile device and the Photos app on any Windows 10 PC. This would enable students to transfer media to their own computers … or to a shared, project PC … without worrying about network speeds or mobile data charges.” As stated through by Microsoft statement.
