Nubya Garcia Releases ‘Pace,’ A Conceptualization Of The Modern Day Fast Paced Life

London based jazz saxophonist and composer Nubya Garcia’s new single is an evocation of the fast life we find ourselves living or as she puts it “we choose to live, that we choose to surround ourselves with.”

The song reflects on how we can keep up with the fast-paced life without severe consequences for both physical and mental health, the song is a reminder that we can change, and have an option to choose.

‘Pace’ is the tenor saxophonist’s latest release after signing to Concord Records, which features dense instrumentals that tell the story of the fast life and tension that characterizes our interactions.

‘Pace’ is produced by Kwes and features additional instrumentation from her talented bandmates, Joe Armon-Jones (keys), Daniel Casimir (double bass), and Sam Jones (drums).
