Rapsody ‘Eve’ Album Officially Out

She’s been making waves lately, the MC whose music is a celebration of good life, power, advocacy and women legacies with a global view.

The American rapper has officially released her new album which is a continuation of her celebration and acknowledgment of women of color, the album succeeds her previous single ‘IBTIHAJ’ named after Olympic fencer Ibtihaj Muhammed and features D’Angelo and Wu Tang member GZA. The 16-track project also features appearances by Queen Latifah, JID, SiR, Mereba, JCole and leikeli47. 9th Wonder, Khrysis, Mark Byrd and Nottz have handled productions for the album.

‘Eve’ is Rapsody’s third studio project and follows the 2017 release ‘Laila’s Wisdom’ and continues the manifestation of the ‘woman voice’ interrogating themes of struggle, self-awareness, power and success. The artist has named the tracks after iconic and inspiring women and using their stories to empower and speak for the women of color.
