Kenyan pop band Sauti Sol has made a grand return with a new rhumba inspired tune dubbed ‘Extravaganza’.
This time round when the rooster crowed, the group made up of master crooners roped in four artists who judging by their delivery on this song are most certainly rising stars of the new East African music scene. The singers include Bensoul, Niviiri The Storyteller, Crystal Asige and Kaskazini.
‘Extravaganza’ picks on that
Rhumba vibe, with an unmistakable Latin palate, thanks to Polycarp’s fancy fingers.
The Sauti Sol & Mboks produced song reveals stirring melodies, catchy
refrains; the acts give a life to common words in Kenyan talks but in a musical
way. ‘Karibuni kwenye extravaganza’ the refrain goes.
