Tomi Thomas Issues New Single ‘Hopeless Romantic’

“Drop a rose – Let’s Goooo share this with the universe,” Tomi Thomas says, as he shares the highly anticipated new single laid on impressive afrobeat influenced dancehall with a tinge of funk instrumentals.

Tomi Thomas speaks about the power of love and how much we all long to be desired. “A hopeless romantic entails daring to love and fearlessly seeking to ascend beyond love, and into peace over and over again.” Tomi Thomas describes one in a tweet.

“On my own/So many days on my own/No credit on my phone/I’m just a hopeless romantic,” he sings, “Stop at nothing I’m a renaissance man, you know,” the affirmation goes.

The multitalented Nigerian artist is gaining a reputation for changing and inspiring a new sound coming from Lagos with impressive releases under his name his most recent EP titled Illusions released in 2018 with a promise of more to come. He followed this with the ‘Work’ single released last year and several features, including projects like: ‘Fuck You’ where he collaborated with Francis Sampah and this year’s release ‘Lagos’ where he worked with GMK.

‘Hopeless Romantic’ was produced by Anny Anifowoshe and visuals directed by Seyi Akinlade.
