According to literature on the single’s YouTube page, Rain is a’ fusion of alternative soul, earthy soul and a hint of contemporary jazz’. The song starts with subtle keys that gradually transition into nimble percussion, hi-hats, sizzling throughout the song with offset antic poses for animated rain sounds, for that emotional experience, which is prominently explored on the earthy-feel black and white visual rendition.
